In this post, we share the 7 best rides for toddlers at EPCOT.
A common concern when planning a day at EPCOT is that kids won’t have as much fun as adults during their visit. While some sections of the park may be more interesting to adults, you will find out in this post that there are many fun rides for toddlers to enjoy their day at EPCOT.
Is Epcot toddler-friendly?
Contrary to popular belief, EPCOT is not only fun for adults. In fact, there are many rides and character experiences that toddlers will enjoy during their day at this theme park.
To note, most of the best rides and attractions at Epcot have no height requirement. Hence, the littles ones have plenty to do and explore.
The general design of the park – especially the World Showcase area – may be more appealing to adults, but there are enough rides and character experiences for your toddler to enjoy their day at Epcot. While we agree EPCOT is less magical than Magic Kingdom for toddlers and kids (MK is pretty hard to beat on that side), we believe the park has some of the best rides for toddlers at Disney. In fact, some EPCOT rides are our personal favorite attractions at Walt Disney World (a little hint: our daugther wants to be Elsa when she grows up!)

7 toddler-friendly rides for at Epcot
1 – Frozen Ever After
Elsa being one of the most adored modern Disney princess, Frozen Ever After is unquestionably one of the most popular ride for toddlers at Epcot.
On this slow musical boat ride, you will travel to a wintery Arendelle. Your toddler will see Elsa and her friends while listening to Frozen’s hits.
This ride is one of the most popular and visited by families at Epcot. Make sure to add it to your Genie+ or rope drop strategies so you don’t have to wait too long in line.

2- Remy’s ratatouille adventure
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is the newest attraction at Epcot and is located in the France pavillion.
This 4D ride is one of our personal favorite at Epcot. Our 4 year-old daughter ket asking to do it again. It shrinks you to the size of Remy and it takes you to a journey through Gusteau’s famous kitchen.
For younger kids, we admit that it may be a bit intense as it moves briskly or fast at times. However, we did it twice with our then 9 months-old who didn’t have any reaction !!
This ride is one of the most popular attractions at Epcot. Make sure to add it to your Genie+ or rope drop strategies to avoid long lines.

3- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
Gran Fiesta Tour is a slow boat ride that takes you to Mexico where two of the Three Caballeros try to find Donald Duck.

4- Journey Into Imagination With Figment
This ride is all about senses and imagination. It is located in the Imagination Institutes at Epcot. Toddlers will love this fun, purple dragon. To note: some loud noises and surprising moments could scare the little ones.
5- The Seas With Nemo & Friends
Your toddler will be happy to hop on a “clamobile” to discover the world under the sea. You’ll see Marlin and Dory look for Nemo in the Australian waters.
At the end of the ride, you can visit Disney’s aquarium.

6- Spaceship Earth
Spaceship Earth is a great overall ride, however, we feel that it’s not the most interesting one for toddlers. The theme— a travel back in time to explore the history of human communication, might not catch your toddler’s interest. If you have to pick, we would definitely go with rides that offer colorful views of Disney characters, such as Nemo and Frozen.
7- Living With The Land
This gentle boat ride makes you discover the history of farming while passing by greenhouses. This ride is indeed appropriate for a toddler (no height requirement and nothing scary)… However, the theme isn’t super fun for toddlers. Like for Spaceship Earth, you will go through amazing sets, however, I don’t think your toddler will have the time of their life on this ride.
