1 – Les Halles – Chatelet (Jardin Nelson-Mandela, 75001 Paris)

We discovered this beautiful playground on the last night of our most recent family trip to Paris.

Our kids loved playing in this big playground located right in the center of Paris. This playground features many different play structures that suit all ages. Among the trees, there is also a nice little path our 18-month-old toddler loved to explore. He kept walking back and forth through the clear curtains hanging over the pathway – a real adventure for toddlers!

While looking at their kids having fun, parents can also enjoy stunning views of the Church of St. Eustache.

The playground is right next to the big shopping mall, to RER and metro stations as well as to quaint streets filled with restaurants, cafes and shops.

2 – Jardin du Luxembourg Playground (Ludo Jardin)

This is one of the biggest and most beautiful playgrounds in Paris. Located in the heart of the city, the Jardin du Luxembourg is an extraordinary place where to relax and to run off steam with kids. With nearly 60 acres to explore, it features many fun things to do with kids such as toy sailboats on the pond, puppet shows at Theatre du Luxembourg, and a traditional Parisian carousel.

It’s also home to Ludo Jardin, a big playground that kids will absolutely love. The main highlights include a towering climbing fort with a big slide (for older kids) and a big sand pit. 3 – Eiffel Tower Playground (Allée Maurice Baumont, 75007 Paris)

This one is a small playground, but the location is perfect! Parents can admire splendid views of the Eiffel Tower while kids have fun at the playground.

4 – Jardin des Tuileries playground

Located in front of the Louvre, the Jardin des Tuileries is totally worth making a stop. It is a stunning park filled with flowers, ponds, and fountains. The playground is located in a fenced area of the Jardin. It features a huge, netted climbing structure that older kids will definitely enjoy. Smaller kids and toddlers are not in rest: there are some equipment such as small slides and rockers for them to have fun.

6 – Trocadero Gardens Playground

You’ll find the Trocadero Gardens right across the street from the Eiffel Tower. The playground is located in a shaded area of the Gardens. The playground features fun climbing structures and slides. For older kids, there is also a large climbing net.

A traditional Parisian carousel is also located near the playground.

If you’re heading to Montmartre to visit the Sacré Coeur, plan a stop at this nearby playground. It is located in the Place Saint-Pierre – in the city park Square Louise-Michel. There are a few climbing structures, slides and sensorial toys to entertain your kids.
