Spring in Portugal is honestly one of my favorite times to visit. The weather’s nice, not too hot, but still warm enough for outdoor activities. Plus, it’s not the busy season, so you’ll avoid the massive crowds of summer. It’s perfect for exploring the city without the heat and massive crowds of tourists.

Weather: Expect mild temperatures—around 12°C (54°F) to 22°C (72°F) in Portugal during spring. It’s perfect for exploring without sweating or freezing.
Why it’s a good time for families to go to Portugal: Fewer tourists mean shorter lines and less stress when visiting popular spots. You can enjoy parks, gardens, and outdoor attractions with kids without feeling rushed. Also, the spring flowers are in full bloom, which is a nice bonus!
